How a business phone number works in StoreChart
What comes with a number
Each number is a separate add-on on your subscription. It comes with forwarding to your phone, voicemail, a list of recent calls, a monthly bundle of forwarded minutes and its own WhatsApp seat, so it can serve as the store's WhatsApp number.
When a call reaches voicemail
The router decides on every incoming call. A call rings your phone only when the number is active, forwarding is on and minutes remain.
- No answer: the phone rings for about 25 seconds, then the caller is sent to voicemail.
- Busy line: the caller is sent to voicemail.
- Forwarding off: callers go straight to voicemail, which is useful outside working hours.
- Minutes used up: callers reach voicemail until the next month.
A voicemail message can last up to two minutes. The prompts are in Hebrew on Israeli numbers and in English on the rest.

Verification and cancellation
Some number types need the carrier to identify the business that holds them. The form asks for business details, a physical address and documents, and a declined request is corrected in place instead of started again.
Cancelling keeps the number working until the end of the paid period. If a payment lapses, the number is suspended and can be reactivated before it is released.

Which countries can I buy a business phone number in?
Israel and the United States. In Israel you can choose a local number or a 055 mobile number, and which types are available depends on what the carrier has in stock when you search.
Where can calls be forwarded?
To Israeli, US or Canadian mobile or landline numbers. Premium and special-service numbers can't be used, and a number can't forward to itself.
What happens when I don't answer?
The phone rings for about 25 seconds. If nobody answers or the line is busy, the caller reaches voicemail and can leave a message of up to two minutes. Voicemail also takes the call when forwarding is off or the monthly minutes are used up.
Can I send and receive SMS on the number?
Only when the number supports it. Israeli numbers take calls only, with no SMS, and the purchase screen says so before you pay. Numbers that do support SMS get their own SMS inbox.
Can I use the number on WhatsApp Business?
Yes. Each store has one WhatsApp number, and a number you bought here can be it. Meta verifies Israeli numbers by voice call, so StoreChart answers the call during a short verification window and shows you the code on screen.
Do I have to verify my business?
For the number types that regulations cover, yes. You submit business details and documents such as proof of address and a business registration certificate in one form. Approval usually arrives within 1–3 business days, and you can buy that type of number once it is approved.
How is a number billed, and can I cancel?
